DETROIT -- The 2008 Dub Show Tour rolled into Cobo Center on Saturday with tricked out rides, celebrities and performances by local and national rappers.
Many of the autos on display have graced the pages of "Dub Magazine," a publication dedicated to custom rides.
Dubs is slang for rims and tires that are 20 inches or greater in diameter. When a rapper says he is rolling on dubs, he means his car or truck has huge rims and tires.

Detroit acts Trick Trick, StretchMoney and Tone Tone are scheduled to perform Saturday along with rappers David Banner and singer Lloyd.
Actor/rapper Nick Cannon is the host of Saturday's events, which end at 9 p.m.

The Dub display at the North American International Auto Show was a hit with younger crowds and it was not unusual to see large crowds jammed around Dub staffers, who were handing out "Dub Magazine" issues, hats and shirts.

Admission is $20 for those ages 6-12 years old and free for those 5 years old and younger.
Dub Publishing organizes the one-day show.
